Costume Maker

The Costume Maker is one of our exclusive features. This handy NPC lets you convert regular headgear pieces into full costumes or even switch an existing costume between Top / Mid / Low slots using Costume Voucher.

While converted costumes maintain the original headgear's appearance, any item effects or stats will be disabled. However, you can easily restore the gear to its normal, functional state whenever desired. It's a fashionable compromise that ensures your character always looks their best, even when min-maxing gear. The Costume Maker brings new levels of aesthetic flexibility to your Ragnarok adventures!

When an item is converted all functional effects vanish; refinements, grades, enchants and cards are irrevocably removed.

How to Use:

1. Talk to the NPC

2. Choose “Convert, Revert or Reposition”

3. Pick the desired sub-option:

   Option	Eligible Equipment
   Convert	Any equipped Top / Mid / Low Headgear or Garment without cards
   Revert	Any equipped Costume Headgear/Garment that was created via this NPC
   Re-Position	Any costume headgear (Top/Mid/Low only)

4. Pay the fee → confirm → enjoy the new look!

Garment Costumes: Any garment with its own sprite (e.g. Costume Wings) can also be converted/reverted, but cannot be re-positioned.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Question	Answer
Do I keep cards, refine or enchants after converting?	No. The NPC strips all functional bonuses. Convert only if you want pure aesthetics.
Can I convert rental or bound items?	Yes but the rental/bound status is kept.
Why can’t I re-position my costume?	Only head slot costumes (Top, Mid, Low) can be moved. Garments and non-converted headgears are excluded.
