# Forasia: Life Skill

The Forasia region in OldschoolRO introduces a specialized life skill environment where adventurers can gather, craft, and survive using professions like **Mining**, **Fishing**, and **Foraging**. This content-rich zone is ideal for players who enjoy gathering resources, crafting consumables, and exploring an ecosystem filled with rare life forms and elemental monsters.

### Overview:

| Life Skill   | Description                                                                             |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Mining**   | Gather mystical ores and crystals used to refine equipment and craft enhancement items. |
| **Fishing**  | Collect various fish used to create tonics that offer recovery and battle buffs.        |
| **Foraging** | Harvest magical plants, herbs, and mushrooms to brew potions with timed bonuses.        |

**Hint**: Access to Forasia is granted via the **Forasia's Warden** in Prontera. You may also unlock temporary gathering gear to get started with each profession.

### Getting to Forasia:

To enter Forasia, speak with the **Forasia’s Warden** in Prontera. If you're eligible, they will warp you to one of three main campsites:

* Mining Camp
* Fishing Camp
* Foraging Camp

You can also teleport between camps using the **Forasia Keeper NPCs**.

### Life Skill Trial Gear:

Upon your first visit to each profession, you may be granted a **Trial Hat** for each job. These hats are temporarily rented and required to gather specific resources.

| Mining     | Mine Helm     | 3 days   |
| Fishing    | Fisherman Hat | 3 days   |
| Foraging   | Straw Hat     | 3 days   |

**Tip:** Equip the hat to begin gathering resources like **Flamestone**, **Tonics**, or **Potions**.

### Monster Presence & Scoutflies

Forasia is inhabited by special elemental monsters:

* **Aquaring**
* **Sproutring**
* **Stonering**

Use the **Scoutflies** ability to detect them nearby. If enemies are found, their location will appear on your minimap for a short time (Only usable within Forasia and limited by a cooldown).

### Campsite Cauldrons:

Located in each camp, these cauldrons enhance the environment visually and mark profession specific gathering areas.

Each profession includes its own shop accessible via the **Forasia’s Warden**:
