**Refining System** allows players to improve their gear by increasing its refine level. Each successful refine enhances your gear’s performance but each attempt comes with risk, cost, and probability.
This guide details all refine chances, materials, zeny costs, and rules per item type and refine level.

| **Scroll of Protection** | This scroll will **downgrade** your equipment instead of destroying it when a refinement attempt fails. |
