Transcendence

Transcendence (commonly referred to as Rebirth) allows non-transcended Second Class characters who have reached Base Level 99 and Job Level 50 to shed their mortal coil and begin a new life as a High Novice (Novice High).

Reborn characters gain higher base stats, increased HP/SP pools, advanced transcendent skill trees, and pave the path toward Transcendent Second Classes (such as Lord Knight, High Priest, High Wizard, Whitesmith, Sniper, Assassin Cross, Paladin, Champion, Professor, Stalker, Creator, Clown, and Gypsy).

Prerequisites & Eligibility

Before attempting the transcendence quest, verify that your character fulfills the following criteria:

• Base Level: Exactly 99

• Job Level: Exactly 50

• Eligible Classes (2nd Job Only):

  • Knight, Crusader, Wizard, Sage, Hunter, Bard, Dancer, Priest, Monk, Assassin, Rogue, Blacksmith, Alchemist

• (Note: 1st Job classes, Expanded classes such as Taekwon, Gunslinger, Ninja, Super Novice, Baby Classes, or already Transcended characters cannot undergo Rebirth.)

Craft the Valkyrie's Feather

In OSRO Revo, the Valkyrie in Valhalla strictly requires a Valkyrie's Feather (Valkyries_Feather) before she will sever your earthly bonds.

Weight Check: Ensure you have enough weight capacity when turning in materials. Upon completion, the Fallen Valkyrie will grant you the Valkyrie's Feather (Weight: 0) and broadcast a server-wide announcement!

Gain Access to the Book of Ymir

Head inside the Schweicherbil Magic Academy in Yuno (yuno_in02). Speak to Sage Metheus Sylphe at @navi yuno_in02 88,164.

• Pay a donation fee of 1,285,000 Zeny.

• Metheus Sylphe immediately unlocks the Book of Ymir for you.

💬 Metheus Sylphe's Advice: "Also, do not forget Valkyrie's Feather. You will be needing it."

Read the Book & Traverse the Maze

Walk north through the library to the Book of Ymir (yuno_in02 93,207).

1. Read the inscription regarding ancient heroes, Valkyrie, and the Heart of Ymir.

2. Head down to the lower academy chambers and navigate through the maze path (yuno_in05).

3. Locate the glowing Heart of Ymir at yuno_in05 49,43.

4. Interact with the Heart of Ymir to be transported directly to the entrance of Valhalla (Hall of Honor) (valkyrie 48,8).

Complete the Rebirth Checklist

CRITICAL REQUIREMENT:

The Valkyrie requires you to abandon all earthly possessions and desires. If ANY item on this checklist is violated, you will be immediately expelled from Valhalla and warped back to Yuno!

Before talking to the Valkyrie at valkyrie 48,86, verify:

• Weight is EXACTLY 0: Deposit all weapons, armors, accessories, potions, arrows, ammunition, and loot into your Kafra Storage. (The Valkyrie's Feather has 0 weight and remains in your inventory).

• Zeny is EXACTLY 0: Store all Zeny in Kafra Storage or bank.

• All Skill Points Allocated (Skill Points == 0): Spend all available skill points from both 1st and 2nd job classes.

• No Pushcart: Merchants, Blacksmiths, and Alchemists must remove their cart.

• No Falcon: Hunters must release their falcon at the Falcon Breeder.

• No Mount / Peco Peco: Knights and Crusaders must dismount.

• No Active Pets / Homunculus: Put all pets back into their eggs.

• Valkyrie's Feather Present: 1x Valkyries_Feather must be in your inventory.

Complete the Valkyrie Ritual & Rebirth

Walk north across the hall in Valhalla to greet the Valkyrie (valkyrie 48,86).

1. The Valkyrie inspects your soul, confirming you carry the Valkyrie's Feather with 0 weight, 0 zeny, and 0 remaining skill points.

2. She invokes the Three Norns of Fate:

   • Urd: Severs and clears previous earthly memories and job variables.

   • Verdandi: Records your most honorable deeds.

   • Skuld: Guides you safely to your new life.

3. The Valkyrie's Feather is consumed.

4. Your character is reborn as a High Novice (Base Lv 1 / Job Lv 1) with 100 Stat Points allocated to fresh distribution!

• Base HP & SP Boost: ~25% higher maximum HP and SP compared to non-transcendent classes.

• Higher Stat Ceiling: Reborn characters receive 100 Stat Points at Level 1 and earn more stat points per level up.

• Advanced Transcendent Skills: Unlocks powerful transcendence-exclusive skills once advancing to Transcendent 2nd Class (Base Lv 99 / Job Lv 70).
