Main Training Quest

The Main Training Quest is the mandatory introductory questline in the Training Grounds for all newly created Novices. It teaches the core mechanics of Oldschool RO : Revo Classic, equips you with your initial gear and potions, tests your combat skills against field monsters, and leads you through your first instance boss battle to qualify for graduation.

Trainer Gin

• Location: Training Ground 77, 175 (near the landing docks).

• Speak with Trainer Gin to start your adventure.

• Buffs Granted (10 Minutes):

  • Blessing Lv. 10

  • Increase Agility Lv. 10

  • Impositio Manus Lv. 5

• Trainer Gin will guide you towards Healer Mire at the training square.

Healer Mire

• Location: Training Ground 148, 234 (inside the training square).

• Learn about the 6 primary character attributes (STR, AGI, VIT, INT, DEX, LUK) and Kafra features (Save Point, Storage, Teleport).

• Reward: 350 Base EXP (instantly levels up your Novice).

• Healer Mire directs you south to Guard Derp.

Guard Derp

• Location: Training Ground 133, 192

• Speak with Guard Derp to receive your beginner equipment and supplies.

• Guard Derp directs you north to Knight Dropping.

Knight Dropping

• Location: Training Ground 152, 238 (near the castle entrance).

• Complete the following monster hunting trials:

⚔️ Hunting Tasks

1. Slay 5 Pupae, 5 Roda Frogs, and 5 Willows (Quest #60358).

2. Slay 5 Rockers and 5 Spores (Quest #60359).

Tip: Type <b>@tgm</b> anytime to view the map with all monster spawn locations.

• Upon completion, Knight Dropping authorizes you to take the Final Challenge behind the castle.

Mystic Flower - Hell Tree

• Location: Training Ground 294, 193 (eastern garden behind the castle).

• Touch the Mystic Flower to generate and enter the private solo instance "Training Grounds - Final Challenge".

• Walk to the center trigger (289, 191) to summon the boss Hell Tree (HELLTREE).

• Slay the Hell Tree.

• Upon victory, you are automatically warped back to the Training Ground and directed to Guard Warphing.

Guard Warphing

• Location: Training Ground 218, 199 / 218, 192 (castle exit gate).

• Speak with Guard Warphing to claim your graduation rewards and depart for your first town.
