The Abandoned Poring is a secret hidden quest in the Training Grounds. By discovering the crying Poring wandering near the southern shoreline and feeding it its favorite treat, you will be rewarded with a free pet taming item to tame your very first Poring companion!

• 10x Jellopy (obtained by hunting Porings in the field).

Walkthrough

Hunt wild Porings

Hunt wild Porings around the Training Grounds to gather 10 Jellopies.

Travel to the shoreline

Travel to the secluded southeastern shoreline at Training Ground 310, 48.

Locate the Abandoned Poring

Locate the crying Abandoned Poring pacing back and forth.

Interact with the Poring

Interact with the Poring. It will sob and communicate its hunger for Jellopies.

Hand over the Jellopies

Hand over the 10 Jellopies.

Wait 10 seconds

Wait 10 seconds while the Poring happily consumes the food.

Speak with the Abandoned Poring

Speak with the Abandoned Poring once more to receive your reward

How to Tame a Poring:

Double-click the Unripe Apple from your inventory, target a wild Poring, and spin the slot machine when prompted. If successful, you will receive a Poring Egg which can be hatched with an Incubator!
